HISTORY
This Scotch-inspired ale distinguishes itself by its fruitiness and assertively hopped character. This type of beer came into existence after World War I when Belgian brewers were inspired by strong Scotch ales.

Beer marinated beef

On spears with mushrooms, served with a summer salad of strawberries, almonds and salad in hops vinegar

 

For 4 persons

 

350g of beef in pieces

1 tray of mushrooms

1 bunch of fresh thyme

2 tablespoons rapeseed oil

1 tray of strawberries

1 tray of mixed salat

200g cooked penne pasta

100g roasted almonds

GB beer

 

Hops vinegar: 1/2 dl. GB beer

1/2 dl. vinegar

2 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablespoons of juice from a citron

 

Pour beer over the beef pieces till they are completely covered nad put them in a fridge for a minimum of 3 hours - gladly till the next day.

 

Arrange the spears with beef and mushrooms. Before and during the grilling, brush them with oil stirred with thyme.

 

Make a salad of strawberry, salads, roasted almonds and penne pasta. Stir the hops vinegar in before serving.
